New medium-voltage test system launched for distribution transformers
Germany, Dresden: HIGHVOLT Prüftechnik Dresden GmbH is unveiling its new medium-voltage test system with static converter for the fully automatic testing of distribution transformers, at Transform 2015 held in Vienna.
Germany, Dresden: HIGHVOLT Prüftechnik Dresden GmbH is unveiling its new medium-voltage test system with static converter for the fully automatic testing of distribution transformers at Transform 2015 held in Vienna.
The new system is used for both routine testing and temperature-rise tests on distribution transformers in the output class up to 5 MVA.
The voltage source is accommodated in a robust and compact block, the control and feeding converter, according to the manufacturer.
This module can be placed either within or outside the test bed. A jacked platform permits adaptation to different transformer heights.
