$49M substation and transmission projects awarded in Argentina

Spanish engineering and construction company Abengoa has been awarded contracts to design and install two power transmission projects in Argentina at a total value of $49M.

 


Spanish engineering and construction company Abengoa has been awarded contracts to design and install two power transmission projects in Argentina at a total value of $49M.

The first project includes construction of a 38-km line in the province of Jujuy and two associated transformer stations, the company states in the press release.

The company has also been awarded a second line that requires the construction of two substations with power transformers and associated electrical equipment in the province of Santa Cruz.

The company will be responsible for the supply, assembly, testing and commissioning of the equipment. Work on the two projects is expected to begin at the end of 2015.
