Caceres boosts energy supply with additional transformer

The mayor Jose Manuel Garcia Ballestero announced the works which have included addition of the second power transformer are nearing completion, reports El Periodico Extremadura.
The project received an investment of over 1.6 million euros, and has been executed by the municipal utility Emdecoria following the agreement that the city council signed with Iberdrola in late 2011.
The upgrade is expected to improve the power supply in the city as well as minimize and reduce cuts and incidents in case of equipment failure.
