Malaysia, Selangor: The new major shareholders of Pasukhas Group Bhd, a Malaysian group engaged in construction and M&E engineering, are expected to set up a new business within the company – the trading and supply of high-voltage power transformers.

Pasukhas could supply six to eight units of high-voltage transformers a year, with the target customers being Tenaga Nasional Bhd and other utility groups in the region, according to sources cited by The Edge Markets.

The transformers will be made by China’s Tebian Electric Apparatus Stock Co Ltd (TBEA), one of the country’s transformer manufacturers.
