USA, Michigan: 455-ton transformer blocked traffic in Oshtemo Township, Michigan on its way to a new electric substation in Van Buren County’s Almena Township.

The load was headed to the substation under construction just west of the Oshtemo border in Van Buren County’s Almena Township, which will serve nearly seven miles of high voltage power lines being constructed now in Oshtemo Township, reports Michigan Live.

ITC Michigan began construction in the fall on the substation, and the power line project is expected to go live in spring 2016.

The estimated cost for the project is $45 million.
