Edemsa supports local vineyards with new transformer station

Argentine, Mendoza: Argentinian utility Edemsa has officially opened a new transformer station Las Viñas at Villa Seca in Tunuyán in order to provide a better electricity service in this famous wine-growing region in Mendoza province, Argentine.

 


Argentine, Mendoza: Argentinian utility Edemsa has officially opened a new transformer station Las Viñas at Villa Seca in Tunuyán in order to provide a better electricity service in this famous wine-growing region in Mendoza province, Argentine.

The works on the new substation included installation of a new power transformer 33/13.2 kV of 20 MVA, reports Diario Uno.

The launch of Las Viñas substation also involved several improvements at Tupungato substation, including capacity expansion through the acquisition and installation of a 66/33 kV power transformer.

Edemsa also built a new 33 kV line to link the two substations.
