The 14 transformers have already been delivered in Juja, and Kenya Power now urges local traders to bid for supply of electrical equipment to be used in the implementation of the multi-million last mile connectivity project that is meant to accelerate access to electricity locally, reports All Africa.
The Kenya Power Company has opted to install dry transformers in the vandalism prone areas to reduce the losses arising from the demand of transformer oil.
