Black Sea resort to power up with new transformers

Russia, Krasnodar Krai: South Western Electric Networks, a branch of PJSC Kubanenergo, will reconstruct two substations this year which supply power to the city of Anapa and its suburbs in Krasnodar region, the Black Sea.

 


Russia, Krasnodar Krai: South Western Electric Networks, a branch of PJSC Kubanenergo, will reconstruct two substations this year which supply power to the city of Anapa and its suburbs in Krasnodar region, the Black Sea.  

As part of the project, the 110 kV substations Dzhiginskaya and Pionerskaya will be upgraded with more powerful power transformers, and other more reliable and compact electrical equipment, reports  Kuban24.

Installation of new equipment will increase the capacity of the substations and enhance reliability of power supply to consumers and new commercial and residential facilities in the city.
