Saskpower orders 1,200 amorphous core transformers
Canada: Siemens Transformers Canada (STCA) recently received an order for the delivery of 1,200 pole-mounted transformers from Saskpower, a public utility serving the province of Saskatchewan in Canada.
Canada: Siemens Transformers Canada (STCA) recently received an order for the delivery of 1,200 pole-mounted transformers from Saskpower, a public utility serving the province of Saskatchewan in Canada.
These amorphous-core transformers with ratings from 25 kVA to 100 kVA will be installed throughout the province, the manufacturer states in the press release.
Siemens will supply all transformers between January and December 2016.
The contract is worth €1.6 million and accounts for 80% of the entire Saskpower requirement.
