GE to provide turnkey project to Tunisia
USA, New York: GE has announced the company will provide a turnkey project to Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz) for the Bouchemma power plant.
USA, New York: GE has announced the company will provide a turnkey project to Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz) for the Bouchemma power plant.
As part of the project, GE will supply equipment and services, including the electrical Balance of Plant (eBOP) – power transformers, the switchyard and associated equipment, the company states in the press release.
Along with the eBOP, the project also includes two heavy-duty gas turbines, generators and the control system.
The project, which will put more than 250 MW on the Tunisian grid, is expected to be completed in seven months.
