Dekra opens testing lab for electrical components in Dubai
Germany: German inspection company Dekra has opened the region's first testing laboratory for electrical components in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Area (Jafza) in Dubai, UAE.
UAE, Dubai: German inspection company Dekra has opened the region’s first testing laboratory for electrical components in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Area (Jafza) in Dubai.
The new testing facility is designed to serve the transformer, switchgear and cable industries in the Middle East and to perform tests for products like switchgear assemblies, cables, busbar trunking systems, transformers and packaged substations in line with national and international standards and client requirements, reports Trade Arabia.
The facility will also offer preliminary testing that can be performed during the design phase of products.
