As part of the project, three single-phase transformers of 30 MVA each have been assembled and are being tested, reports Esi-Africa.

The project entails three voltage levels: 220 kV for the municipalities of Mbanza Congo, Nóqui, Tomboco and Kuimba, 60 kV for Zaire and 400 kV for Luanda.

The 400 kV and 60 kV lines have already been completed, while the 220 kV line is 80% complete.
