Poland, Lodz: ABB will expand the capacity and scope of its transformer production facilities in Lodz, Poland in 2016.
The company’s manufacturing hub in Lodz includes a feeder factory which produces transformer components for power and distribution transformers. The factory is located next to ABB’s existing transformer facilities, the manufacturer said in a statement.
Both factories serve the European market.
In total the company employs around 1000 employees in Lodz.
