USA, Washington: The Port of Quincy in Washington State will be building two electrical power substations in 2017.

The substations, Quincy Plains and Cloudview, with power transformers and associated electrical equipment, will be designed and built to PUD (public utility district) specifications to save time, with an expected construction time for projects of about 18 months, reports iFIBER One.

Both substations are being constructed to serve one industrial customer each. The Quincy Plains station will be a standalone station, while Cloudview will have additional room for two more industrial customers.

Construction for both stations is expected to begin by November and be completed by August 2017.
