$15 million substation projects underway in Nigeria

Nigeria, Abuja: The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) is investing more than $15 million into the equipment to boost power infrastructure in Sokoto State, Nigeria.

 


Nigeria, Abuja: The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) is investing more than $15 million into the equipment to boost power infrastructure in Sokoto State, Nigeria.

The funds are being invested in the construction of three substations and the related electrical equipment, including power transformers, in three locations in different parts of the state, reports News 24.

NDPHC General Manager said each substation had the capacity to carry a 500 kVa transformer.

He appealed to the Federal Government to consider building more substations in various districts in the eastern and southern parts of the state.
