India, Uttar Pradesh: The Central government has approved $57 million funding for the proposed electrification projects in the city of Ghaziabad aiming to increase power supply in the coming years.

 


India, Uttar Pradesh: The Central government has approved $57 million funding for the proposed electrification projects in the city of Ghaziabad aiming to increase power supply in the coming years.

As part of the scheme, 21 distribution substations 33/11 kV will be built, with power transformers and associated electrical equipment, including two at Parpa and Kheda and the other 19 in various urban areas in the city, reports Hindustan Times.

The funding will also cover the expansion of the existing 10 substations 33/11 kV in urban areas.
