Larsen & Toubro to install 108 new transformers in one city
India, Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) has approved installation of 108 new transformers in the city of Lucknow in order to respond to increasing consumption of electricity in the city.
India, Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) has approved installation of 108 new transformers in the city of Lucknow in order to respond to increasing demand for electricity in the city.
The contract for the installation of transformers has been awarded to Larsen & Toubro who have until 15 July to install all transformers, reports The Times of India.
These transformers are the remaining 108 units out of 402 new transformers that were sanctioned in 2014 under the Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme. 363 units have already been installed.
