Siemens to build transformer station in Belgrade

Serbia, Belgrade: Serbian national electric utility company EPS has awarded an $8.6 million (€7.7 million) contract to the Siemens local unit for the construction of a new transformer station in one of the central districts of the Serbian capital.

 


Serbia, Belgrade: Serbian national electric utility company EPS has awarded an $8.6 million (€7.7 million) contract to the Siemens local unit for the construction of a new transformer station in one of the central districts of the Serbian capital.

For the 110/10 kV substation, Siemens will provide all high and medium voltage equipment, including power transformers, a control system and protective relays.

The project is expected to be completed within two years.
