New 550 MVA power transformer planned for the Tyrol substation

Austria, East Tyrol: Austrian Power Grid AG has awarded an engineering company Pöyry a contract for the upgrade and extension of existing 220/380 kV switchgears and installation of new equipment at Lienz substation, Austria.

 


Austria, East Tyrol: Austrian Power Grid AG has awarded an engineering company Pöyry a contract for the upgrade and extension of existing 220/380 kV switchgears and installation of new equipment at Lienz substation, Austria.

The frame agreement includes detailed design engineering, project management and installation services as well as the supply of equipment, including an additional, third 380/220 kV power transformer 550 MVA, the company said in a statement.

The project will start in July 2016 and will be completed by the end of 2022.
