Kenya Power invites bids for 1,000 distribution transformers

Kenya, Nairobi: The Kenya Power and Lighting Company is inviting bids for 1,000 distribution transformers for the Kenya Electricity Modernization Project (KEMP), for which the government received a loan from the International Development Association (IDA).

 


Kenya, Nairobi: The Kenya Power and Lighting Company is inviting bids for 1,000 distribution transformers for the Kenya Electricity Modernization Project (KEMP), for which the government received a loan from the International Development Association (IDA).

Specifically, the bids are invited for the supply of 400 50 KVA 3-phase transformers 11/0.433 kV and 600 50 KVA 3-phase transformers 33/0.433 kV.

The bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s guidelines.
