7 people injured in transformer explosion

Pakistan, Lahore: As many as seven people including children were injured when a power transformer exploded near Mahmood Boti Baghbanpura area on Wednesday.

 

Pakistan, Lahore: As many as seven people including children were injured when a power transformer exploded near Mahmood Boti Baghbanpura area on Wednesday.

All injured persons were rushed to Mayo hospitals for treatments, two of them were in critical condition. According to the local police, an electrical transformer exploded due to overloading and seven people were injured when hot oil splashed on them. All of them suffered severe burns.

After the incident power supply to Baghbanpur area was cut off while the citizens started a demonstration against Lesco, Lahore Electric Supply Company.
