12 transformers to arrive in Aswan for solar energy projects

As Transformers Magazine earlier reported, the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity has signed a contract with China’s XD-EGEMAC for the supply of four transformer stations for the transmission and distribution of energy produced from the feed-in tariff solar energy projects in Benban.
The company will establish 12 power transformers with a capacity of 175 MVA, nine of which will be installed at Benban stations 1, 2 and 4, in addition to three units in Benban station 3, reports Daily News Egypt.
The company will complete all supplies and installations in November 2016.
