Nigeria, Kwara: The Kwara State Government has been urged to make provision in the budget for 2017 for the installation of approximately 105 power transformers distributed to communities.
The decision is part of the resolutions by the Nigeria’s House of Assembly and a response to a matter of general public importance regarding vandalism on some transformers procured in 2014 which had not been installed, reports The Guardian.
The Assembly believes the state government should make it a priority to ensure that more communities have access to electricity.
