USA, California: A blown transformer in San Ramon, a suburban city located east of San Francisco, caused a widespread blackout in the area affecting 26,000 people.

 


USA, California: A blown transformer in San Ramon, a suburban city located east of San Francisco, caused a widespread blackout in the area affecting 26,000 people.

Tens of thousands of affected residents remained without power for three hours, reports CBS.

Due to the blown transformer, a major roadway in San Ramon, Crow Canyon Road, had to be closed in both directions at Alcosta Boulevard.
