Three transformers transported to Moscow CHPPs

Russia: FESCO Transportation Group (FESCO) has transported three power transformers from Novorossiysk, a port city on the Black Sea, to the installation sites at the Moscow central heating and power plants (CHPP).

 


Russia: FESCO Transportation Group (FESCO) has transported three power transformers from Novorossiysk, a port city on the Black Sea, to the installation sites at the Moscow central heating and power plants (CHPP).

The transformers weighed 167 tons each, and had an overall size of 8.5m x 3.2m x 4.1m, FESCO stated in the press release.

Each transformer was transported in a separate lot. They were loaded directly from ships to special railway transporters, on which oversized cargo was transported to stations of the Moscow railway, where transformers were loaded onto motor vehicles.

The average time of transportation of each lot was 15-20 days.
