TCN adds 60 MVA transformer at Ijebu-Ode

Nigeria, Ogun State: The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has installed another power transformer at the Ijebu-Ode transmission substation in the state of Ogun, increasing the substations’ capacity from 60 MVA to 120 MVA.

 


Nigeria, Ogun State: The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has installed another power transformer at the Ijebu-Ode transmission substation in the state of Ogun, increasing the substation’s capacity from 60 MVA to 120 MVA.

The new 132 kV power transformer will be officially commissioned by the Minister of Power Works and Housing, Mr Raji Fashola, on 28 June, reports NAN.

The new transformer at Ijebo-Ode is just one out of the several transformers that have recently been completed and commissioned into service by the company.

Other ongoing transformer installations in Osogbo Region include a 60 MVA transformer at the 132 kV Sagamu transmission substation, a 60 MVA transformer at Osogbo substation and another 60 MVA transformer at Ile-Ife transmission station.
