Mexico: The first live remote monitoring system for Factory Acceptance Tests has been successfully tested and implemented in Siemens Transformers factory in Mexico.
The new system, which includes about 12 cameras at the factory and produces high quality video, allows customers to watch the Factory Acceptance Test without the need for on-site factory visits, according to the manufacturer.
The remote observation provides transparency and reliability through the manufacturing and testing processes, adds the manufcaturer.
