Martinsville to receive new substation at $22M

USA, Virginia: The Harvest Foundation is planning an $11 million investment in the construction of a new substation and the transmission line at the Commonwealth Crossing Business Centre in Martinsville, Virginia.

 


USA, Virginia: The Harvest Foundation is planning an $11 million investment in the construction of a new substation and the transmission line at the Commonwealth Crossing Business Centre in Martinsville, Virginia.

The investment will cover about 50% of the total cost of the substation, which is valued at $22 million, reports WDBJ.

The project is a partnership among the Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corp., Henry, Appalachian Power Company, and The Harvest Foundation.
