L&T bags lucrative deals to build 220 kV substation In UAE
Larsen and Toubro’s (L&T) power transmission and distribution unit has secured a key contract for the design, supply, and construction of a 220 kV substation from the UAE government.
Larsen and Toubro’s (L&T) power transmission and distribution unit has secured a key contract for the design, supply, and construction of a 220 kV substation from the UAE government.
L&T also announced that it has secured another order for the engineering, procurement and construction of a 400 kV overhead transmission line in Zambezia province in Mozambique and also secured an order for modernising the electrical distribution network in several sectors of Gurugram Smart City in Haryana, India. The existing 11 kV overhead distribution network will be converted into underground cable network.
The company said that it has also secured an order for the construction of two transmission lines 765 kV and 400 kV, for high-capacity transmission systems in Gujarat, India.
