Authorities responded to reports of a fire at a Southern California Edison substation.
Units arriving on scene located a transformer that had burst into flames and began efforts to secure power and safely extinguish the fire.
Firefighters extinguished the fire within 25 minutes but more than 10,000 customers were reportedly without power as a result of the fire.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
