Central Power Electric Cooperative recently finished a 43 km long transmission line starting southwest of Minot and traveling north, connecting to a substation east of Ruthville.
Verendrye Electric uses the line to serve the areas.
The project provides a 115 kV transmission line bringing another source of electrical capacity to the region.
