China: The installation of a jacket foundation and an offshore substation topside at the 300 MW Binhai South H3 offshore wind farm in China’s Yellow Sea has been completed.

Huadian Heavy Industries is the main contractor for the construction and installation of a part of the project’s facilities and equipment.

Developed on behalf of the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), Binhai South H3 will comprise 75 turbines mounted on monopile foundations designed by Ramboll.

It is the third in a series of wind farms, including SPIC Binhai North H1 which began producing power in December 2016, and SPIC Binhai North H2 which went into operation in 2017.
