Germany, Munich: On 1 August, 2020, David Scaquetti joined the Grid Control team, which is part of the Digital Grid business unit, as Director of Business Development and Strategy.
This is a global role focused on further improving relationships with customers and generating new business opportunities in strategic segments.
Scaquetti has worked for Siemens for over 20 years, holding positions in Sales, Business Development, and Project Management areas in the power transformer factory in Brazil. He has also spent over three years in the United States, returning to lead the transformer condition monitoring team. After that, he led the Customer Services area for all transformers produced by Siemens in Brazil.
From 2014, he held the position of Sales Manager for HVDC systems and later joined Siemens AG in Germany, focused on projects in Latin America and Europe. In his last assignment, on the Service and Digital segment, he dedicated himself to digitalization solutions delivering power system domain knowledge for substation data-driven asset risk management worldwide.
