UAE, Dubai: Informa Markets has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic Middle East Energy and the supporting Global Energy & Utilities Forum will be rescheduled to 14 – 16 June 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the global energy industry.

The event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates.

The decision to run Middle East Energy in June of next year, rather than March, was one made with the partners and key stakeholders after conducting a number of industry research pieces which highlighted how businesses and economies are forecasting to improve from Q2 onwards in 2021.

As has been the case over the last 46 years, Informa continues to work with the industry to deliver the best and safest possible event experience for the participants. They are keeping everyone informed of any new developments and initiatives to support bringing the community together through face-to-face events with complementary digital opportunities.

As Dubai has already officially reopened for events and exhibitions, Informa is committed to enabling markets to get back to business and will host in 2020; Middle East Event Show (14-15 October), Cityscape (15-17 November), HR Summit (16-18 November), and Gulf Traffic (15-17 December). All events will be run in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure safety standards.

Middle East Energy will return to its traditional timeline of March/April from 2022.
