ABOUT THE E-LESSON

In this e-lesson you can learn how PSTs impact the physical power flows in interconnected networks. You can also learn how these effects can be used as non-costly remedial action and to control unwanted and unscheduled cross-border flows. To maximize the benefits of PSTs they have to be placed and operated properly which is also dealt with in this lesson.

Find out more about different classification of categories for PST, design factors  and  Criteria for OLTC selection and adaption for PST.

Last but not least – MR’s experience in PST applications worldwide are highlighted through certain examples.
