British Cryogenic Council endorses Transformers Magazine’s Special Edition on Superconductivity

UK, Oxfordshire, Didcot: The British Cryogenics Council (BCC) issued news on endorsing and supporting Transformers Magazine edition on Superconductivity.

The British Cryogenics Council (BCC) is an organisation based in the UK for advancement of scientific education by promoting man’s knowledge of and interest in cryogenics, fostering the development and application of cryogenics for the public benefit. The BCC provides a Forum to connect the Cryogenic Community in the UK and beyond, and to support the Education and Training needed to feed industry with the talent and resource it requires.

On 11 January, the BCC endorsed the special issue on Superconductivity by Transformers Magazine, which will be published at the end of May 2021. The scope and topics are listed here.

This special issue aims at all large-scale power applications of superconducting technology, including power cable, FCL, transformer, SMES, superconducting breakers, and etc.

We have professional experts from SuperOx, Nexan, AMSC, and KEPCO, as well as academic experts from the University of Strathclyde, UK on the guest editorial board.

Transformers Magazine cordially invites all interested parties including academic researchers, professional engineers, electrical utilities and consultants, as well as component and tape / wire manufacturers to take part in our Special Edition issue focusing on Superconductivity for power applications.
