Croatia, Zagreb: The contract was signed between ABB Power Grids Zagreb and TSO KOSTT to build a new substation.

The companies have signed the contract by their representatives, Mustafe Hasani, KOSTT CEO, and Nina Dusper Sušić, director of the Balkan Cluster Hitachi ABB Power Grids.

“We are very honoured to continue the fruitful cooperation with KOSTT and participate in ensuring grid stability and the Ferizaj municipality’s development. Our goal is to modernize grids and implement innovative solutions for energy transformation and digitalization,” said Nina Dusper Sušić.

According to KOSTT, the implementation of the project is expected to be completed within 24 months.

This capital investment envisages the construction of a new substation in the municipality of Ferizaj, and the installation of a 40 MVA power transformer in this substation.

The implementation of the project will have a significant impact on increasing the security and quality of electricity supply for the territory of the municipality of Ferizaj, but it will also provide conditions for the further economic development of the municipality and the surrounding area, KOSTT said.

KOSTT CEO Mustafe Hasani said that the company is committed to providing quality services to all consumers through long-term development planning and adequate investments in order to contribute to the development of the energy sector in Kosovo as a key pillar of economic and social development in the country.
