This is our last reminder to register to the three courses at the Transformers Academy.

L2 TCA Course is in the middle of its Intermediate programme, Transformer Oil Course is at its very beginning, while our Online Assessment and Management of Water in Transformers Course is a three-lesson course which you don’t want to miss. Here are brief descriptions of each of those:

L2 TCA Course by Jon Giesecke

This course will serve anyone who is involved in the decision making processes in the transformers industry, substation management and to high-level tech experts such as foremen, job leaders, etc. Attend the sixth e-lesson today and learn about performing functional testing of the transformer cooling system, functional testing of Load Tap Changers (LTC) and analysis of data, functional testing of Lightning/Surge Arresters and about complete visual inspection tips and tricks. You can always catch up on missed lessons here, because all of them are available on demand.

Transformer Oil Course by CS Narasimhan

The first course on transformer oils with absolutely no commercial axe to grind since it is delivered by an independent professional consultant. This course is also the first of its kind to highlight and discuss most of the critical areas of interest to the targeted audience. Attend the third e-lesson, which will be held live tomorrow, and get to know how the IEC 60296, 5th edition, 2020 and IEEE C57.106, 2015 standards address the performance concerns of end-users. All of the lessons in this course, either live or on demand, are available here.

Online Assessment and Management of Water in Transformers by Oleg Roizman

This three-lesson professional course is intended for those working in the asset management of an electrical plant, in project management, and design of high voltage substations. It will provide an in-depth knowledge and understanding of moisture phenomenon in large power transformers. Attend the second e-lesson live on Wednesday and find out why moisture is most recommended parameter for online monitoring practices, learn about on-line vs on-load monitoring, moisture sensors- how they work and what they measure, how and where to install moisture sensor, etc. If you miss the live session, it will be available here, along with the first one and with the third one, which is already available for the registration.
