KPT successfully tests its innovative transformer

Croatia, Zagreb: Končar-Power Transformers (KPT) announced on social networks to have successfully tested their short-circuit proof transformer.

In the post it said that the company’s  innovative short-circuit proof transformer has successfully finished testing after the special sequence at Kema NL and then the transformer was tested back at KPT factory.

The demanding tests the device has passed at the SC-lab from the first attempt has demonstrated the focus on quality of design and workmanship of their team.

The transformer is now on its way to support the Dutch transition to a greener future of energy from offshore wind.

Končar-Power Transformers Ltd., Zagreb, is joint venture of Siemens AG and “Končar-Electrical Industry” PLC. KPT activities include sales, development, design, production, testing and servicing power transformers. KPT produces large power transformers in accordance with the customer agreed specifications and national and international standards.
