IMEFY and Ganz Transformers join forces

Hungary, Budapest: IMEFY and Ganz Transformers, Motors and Generators Manufacturer Ltd. have entered into a partnership.
Ganz Transformers, Motors and Generators Manufacturer Ltd. will become an agent for IMEFY for distribution transformers (both oil and dry-type) for the Hungarian and Romanian market.
In addition, the parties have also agreed that IMEFY will represent Ganz Transformers, Motors and Generators Manufacturer Ltd. for large power transformers (above 160 MVA/220 kV).
IMEFY is a family business with 47 years of experience in the manufacture of dielectric liquid immersed transformers, cast resin transformers and power transformers, demonstrating a high versatility in their business operations.
Ganz Transformers, Motors and Generators Manufacturer Ltd. is a manufacturer of power transformers, known as the manufacturer of the first transformer in the world in 1885. Ganz is the market leader in the Hungarian market of power transformers.
The partners’ objective is to further increase the presence of IMEFY in the Hungarian and Romanian market and work together in providing the customers with high quality products and services as well as increasing the global market presence of Ganz on the field of large power transformers.
