Croatia, Zagreb: Končar-Power Transformers Ltd., a joint venture of Siemens Energy and Končar-Electrical Industry PLC., has shipped a transformer to Belgium.

Due to the energy demand growth, the customer decided to replace their existing 507 MVA with a new one, higher rated 530  MVA. Nevertheless, the Končar-Power Transformers (KPT) engineering experts designed a new transformer that fit perfectly into the existing dimensions of the box. That way, the company has supported the customer through their transition to a more sustainable world.

KPT produces large power transformers in accordance with the customer agreed specifications and national and international standards. Due to rare repetition, new design is required for practically every order.

Special attention is given to the selection and training of employees and management processes, to produce high-quality products that meet the demands and expectations of customers and other interested parties.

In addition to the permanent location in Zagreb – Croatia, KPT works at temporary locations around the world, where performed the installation and commissioning of transformers. Given the location, KPT will consider the most appropriate way to transport and carry out delivery and installation of the ordered equipment.
