Germany, Hannover: The very automatic winding machine for HV coils of distribution transformers is now becoming essential for the energy transition, energy savings and renewable solutions.
The LION machine allows for the highest productivity along with important material savings due to the best space factors achieved through flattening of enamel round wire (AL or CU), thus ensuring quality insulation with a sophisticated and electronically controlled motorized wire flattening and sensors to detect the enamel quality.
For the first time in the market, the machine unifies the great experience of BR Tech in automation and customization of their products for high level customers, with an industrialized standardization required in the competitive distribution transformer segment, through the approach from TRAFOPRO (Transformer Process).
Within three main sizes of models, depending on the max coil length (600 to 1000 mm), the machine can cover the complete range of distribution transformers mainly starting from 100 kVA to around 3.150 kVA.
