Ganz to deliver power transformers to ACCIONA

Hungary, Budapest: Ganz Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines Ltd. have announced the company was awarded the delivery of power transformers to ACCIONA.
The company will deliver three transformer, which will be implemented at the Spanish floating photovoltaic plant.
The delivery is to include two 50 MVA and one 25 MVA 220/30kV transformers.
The designs have already been completed and the manufacturing is in progress so that the transformers will be ready for the delivery to the site by January 2022.
Ganz is known not just as a high quality supplier, but a supplier capable of manufacturing power transformers within competitive delivery deadlines.
Sierra Brava floating photovoltaic plant is located close to the southern shore of the Sierra Brava reservoir, located in Zorita (Cáceres). Designed to cover around 12,000 m2, the floating solar plant occupy around 0.07 % of the reservoir’s surface area.
The installation will consist of five adjacent floating systems. Each system will have 600 photovoltaic panels with an estimated total capacity of 1.125 MWp.
