PFIFFNER International AG acquires HAVECO AG

Switzerland, Hirschthal: PFIFFNER International AG, a solution provider for the electrical power industry and electric railroads, has acquired HAVECO AG.
Along with the other traditional Swiss brand names such as PFIFFNER, MOSER GLASER, ALPHA-ET and HAEFELY, HAVECO is yet another feather in the cap for the PFIFFNER Group.
HAVECO, based in Gwatt near Thun, was a family-owned company before the acquisition, and is active in the field of energy and grid services for customers in the electricity industry, and electric railroads. The range of services covers the entire project from planning to execution and commissioning. HAVECO also resolves bottlenecks faced by its customers with personnel mandates (body leasing).
Since its inception in 2012, HAVECO has become an established brand in the Swiss energy services sector. Currently, HAVECO employs approximately 30 people.
HAVECO will continue to operate independently under its own brand name in the market.

For the benefit of our customers, HAVECO and PFIFFNER Systems will increasingly cooperate in the future, not just in switchgear projects but also in battery storage solutions, where PFIFFNER recently announced a cooperation with the company FENECON.
Both parties have agreed not to disclose the takeover price.
