The advanced service program uses digital tools to provide detailed snapshots and in-depth expert analysis to determine the current status and vulnerabilities of substations. This equips users with the information needed to make correct and timely decisions to ensure reliable and sustainable operations.

Substations are major investments that must be protected throughout their long service life. Maintaining their reliability and availability directly impacts business operations, be it renewable power generation, an industrial production process, data centre or rail transportation network.

Reliability Space protects these critical investments with three service offerings: RelPlan™ helps design new substations for optimal availability and reliability; RelScan™ provides a detailed snapshot of a substation’s health and vulnerabilities; and RelScan™ Plus is a concrete life-extension plan tailored to customer needs.

The services are based on digital reliability models and analytics to create a virtual model of critical assets in the substation.

“Reliability Space is an advanced service program for assessing substations´ key assets,” said Daniel Galvan, Global Head of Service for Grid Integration business. “It provides the optimal combination of site assessment, expert analysis and virtual models of live systems. It helps customers anticipate problems, reduce downtime and safety risks, optimize expenditure and ultimately increases grid resilience and sustainability.”
