Tobias Hansson new country manager for Hitachi Energy in Sweden

Sweden: Hitachi Energy has announced that Tobias Hansson will assume the role of the country manager for Hitachi Energy in Sweden on 14 February 2022.

Sweden: Hitachi Energy has announced that Tobias Hansson will assume the role of the country manager for Hitachi Energy in Sweden on 14 February 2022.

Tobias Hansson will succeed Jenny Larsson, who is leaving Hitachi Energy to pursue her career outside the company.

Hansson is currently the site manager for operations in Ludvika as well as the European Manager for power transformers at Hitachi Energy.

He has a vast experience in the energy industry, having started his career as a trainee at ABB in 2002. After that, he has held several senior positions within ABB, Hitachi ABB Power Grids and Hitachi Energy, both in Sweden and Germany.

“I wish to thank Jenny for her great efforts in positioning Hitachi Energy in Sweden and I am very happy that Tobias Hansson, with his inclusive leadership, will continue to drive the business in Sweden forward, and that together with his colleagues, customers and partners he will generate growth and strongly contribute to a fossil-free society,” says Johan Söderström, European Manager for Hitachi Energy.

Hansson holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Luleå University of Technology.

Hitachi Energy has over 4,000 employees in Sweden in just over 10 locations in the country. The largest places of business are Ludvika with approximately 2,700 employees and Västerås with approximately 1,050 employees.
