Brazil: Spanish electrical engineering company Ingeteam SA has said it supplied inverters and substations for two solar projects totalling 21  MWp in Brazil.

The shipment of 108 inverters and 32 substations was sent to Brazilian renewable energy company Mercury Renew, which used the equipment for the 80-MWp Brigida and the 130-MWp Bon Nome solar farms.

Both plants are located in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco where they are a part of the same solar power complex, Ingeteam said.

The Bon Nome solar farm was commissioned recently, while Brigida has been operating since April 2021.

Under the contract, Ingeteam supplied 32 substations or power stations of the INGECON SUN MSK model. Each contains various solar inverters, power transformer, medium voltage switchgear, auxiliary services panel and auxiliary services transformer, the Spanish firm said, adding that the inverters were made at its factory in Brazil.
