Dr. Diego Robalino is Megger’s Global Industry Director – Transformers. He specialises in complex electrical testing procedures and the development of state-of-the-art transformer testing technology. He has over 20 years of electrical engineering experience with management responsibilities in the power systems, oil and gas, and research arenas. Diego is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the IEEE/PES Transformers Commit-tee, a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the General Chairman for the IEEE/DEIS 2022 40th Electrical Insulation Conference. He has authored over 40 technical articles related to power, distribution, and instrument transformer condition assessment. Diego received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University while researching power system optimisation with a focus on aging equipment.
