Heavy transformer shipped to North Macedonia

North Macedonia, Skopje: Cosmatos Group coordinated the transport of a 240 T transformer from Greece to North Macedonia.
The transformer Cosmatos Shipping Services lifted off the ship that was transporting it to the Port of Thessaloniki measured 10 m x 4.1 m x 4.3 m.
The company handled with aptness a challenging operation that required a tandem lift by two 500 T lifting capacity mobile cranes until the cargo was safely laid on the special truck for inland transportation.
The project team from Cosmatos Group took care of the arriving ship’s husbandry, the unwelding/unlashing operation, the stevedoring and cranage as well as the transit customs formalities to North Macedonia.
