Transformer blast injures 4 in Kuwait

Kuwait, Salmiya: Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity and Water said that an explosion erupted at a main electrical transformer in Salmiya during periodical maintenance.
The incident resulted in a fire, which caused injuries to four persons. The blast caused a partial power outage in the surrounding area.
The ER and the Kuwait firefighting teams rushed to the scene and soon managed to control the fire. The injured persons were admitted to Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospital for medical treatment. The Ministry stated that the facility is currently being checked to uncover the reasons behind the blast, pointing out that the power supply resumed as normal later that day.
